In Sesame Street: Elmo’s A-to-Zoo Adventure, kids head to the zoo with Elmo, Zoe and their animal friends, as they explore games based on a variety of literacy skills, including letter identification, letter sounds and word families. I have to say they are both Great games. The only thing I dont really like on the Elmo A to Zoo is in one of the games Elmo is at the top and the child has to swim Elmo to pop the needed letter bubble as it slowly floats to the top. The problem is Elmo can only swim back and forth not up and down, so really there is not good control over what bubble gets popped. This frustrates my 2 year old because he cant get to the bubble he wants or bumps the wrong one befor he can get to the one he needs. I feel it would have been better if they could simply drag the bubble to Elmo or touch it and it would pop. My 4 year old is a little advanced for this game, but he is advanced for his age. He likes the Cookies Counting Carnival. My 2 year old loves it though. Its kindda funny; if by chance he touches the game he dont like such as the letter bubble one he shuts it off and starts over. All the other games are really good and get more advanced as the child gets better. It says the letters, colors & shapes so your child always knows. Another good thing is if they get it wrong more than 2 times your child is guided to the right answer. I have to say that the game they like the best is Diego Great Dinosaur Rescue. But it is so repetitive. Same things over and over again. It doesn’t teach your child anything. If they know it then they’ll get bored with it quickly (my child) and if they don’t then I don’t see how they can do it.
